How Poe works

Poe asks follow-up questions, extracts service category, location, contact details and recommendation signals, and matches what you describe to existing professionals when possible. It never invents a provider that is not already in our records or supported by community input.

• Create a real business listing from a mention alone; it drafts a recommendation for review.
• Guarantee that any professional is suitable for your situation.
• Remember your conversation after the session ends.

Recommendations are screened for abuse, prompt injection and missing required information before publication. Staff can review edge cases. You can withdraw your recommendation at any time.

Poe uses large language models through Lovable AI Gateway. Prompts are stripped of direct identifiers and processed on infrastructure described at https://trust.lovable.dev/. We keep logs only for safety and quality review, within the retention windows shown on the Compliance page.

Order is decided in three separate stages, always in this order, and none of them can be bought.

• Who can do the job: the trade, the town or declared coverage area, the language, whether they are open now and whether they only work online. Anyone who does not fit is not shown at all.
• How closely it matches what you asked: your own words, specialisation and distance.
• What the community says: how many members recommended them, whether that was in more than one place, how recently the facts were confirmed, and the reliability of the people who recommended them.

Paying for the EUR 49/year listing, claiming the page, having a logo, photos or the verification badge changes position by nothing at all. Verification is a fact we show you and a safety filter, never a score. There are no sponsored positions; if there ever are, they will be labelled as such.
