We help people living in Portugal find English-speaking professionals and services that other residents have recommended, and we let those residents recommend the people who helped them. Searching, viewing profiles and submitting recommendations are free.

We are not a party to any agreement between you and a professional you find here. We do not verify qualifications, licences or insurance, and a recommendation is somebody's opinion, not our endorsement.

You must be at least 16 and use the service lawfully. You may create one account for yourself and are responsible for keeping access to it secure.

• Recommend only professionals you have genuinely used.
• Do not recommend your own business, and disclose any connection when asked.
• Do not accept payment or other benefit for making a recommendation.
• Write your own words, keep them factual, and do not include anything defamatory or private about other people.
• You may withdraw your recommendation at any time.

We may hold, edit for clarity, refuse or remove a contribution that breaks these rules, and we may suspend an account that repeatedly does.

Professionals may buy a Portugal Expats AI listing subscription. Checkout and payment pages may identify the purchase as Portugal Expats AI, the brand under which this service is sold. The fee buys a profile and the ability to be found. It never buys ranking: position is decided by recommendations, and we do not sell placement.

Subscriptions renew for the stated term unless cancelled before renewal. Where you are a consumer within the meaning of Portuguese law, you have the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts; if you ask us to publish immediately and then withdraw, we may charge for the part already supplied. Cancel or request a refund by writing to us.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish about your business, and for holding whatever licences and insurance your activity requires.

• No scraping, bulk extraction, or automated access outside features we provide.
• No attempts to break authentication, access other people's data, or probe the service without permission.
• No manipulating Poe or the conversation to produce content outside the recommendation workflow.
• No unlawful, misleading, harassing or infringing content.

You keep ownership of what you write. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute it as part of the service, including in search results and shared lists. You can end that licence for a given recommendation by withdrawing it.

The site, its design, its copy and the Poe helper remain ours.

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice where a change materially affects a paid listing.

We provide the service with reasonable care but are not liable for the acts, omissions, quality of work or pricing of any professional you find here, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Portuguese law, including for fraud, death or personal injury, or a consumer's statutory rights.

To report unlawful content, an incorrect profile or a rights infringement, email hello@oceanirrequieto.com. We acknowledge reports, act on clear cases, and tell you the outcome and how to contest it, in line with the Digital Services Act.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their place of residence and may use Portuguese alternative dispute resolution entities for consumer disputes. We will always try to resolve a problem directly first.
